Attend all special events |

Be informed about the organization's mission, services, policies, and programs |

Review agenda and supporting materials prior to board and committee meetings |

Serve on committees and offer to take on special assignments |

Commit at least nine hours per week to Art for People related business |

Make a personal financial contribution to the organization, commensurate with personal situation |
|
Inform others about the organization, and be responsible for acquiring presentation skills necessary to do so in a professional and knowledgeable manner |

Suggest possible nominees to the board who can make significant contributions to the work of the board and the organization |
|
Keep up-to-date on developments in the organization's field |
|
Follow conflict of interest and confidentiality policies |
|
Assist the board in carrying out its fiduciary responsibilities, such as reviewing the organization's annual financial statements |
|
Guide the organization in computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, programs and schedules for data processing, computer services, network communications, and management information services |
|
Cultivate relationships on behalf of Art for People with internet, new media and information technology businesses |
