Review agenda and supporting materials prior to board and committee meetings |

Serve on committees and offer to take on special assignments |

Commit at least nine hours per week to Art for People related business |

Make a personal financial contribution to the organization, commensurate with personal situation |

Inform others about the organization, and be responsible for acquiring presentation skills necessary to do so in a professional and knowledgeable manner |

Suggest possible nominees to the board who can make significant contributions to the work of the board and the organization |
 |
Keep up-to-date on developments in the organization's field |

Follow conflict of interest and confidentiality policies |

Assist the board in carrying out its fiduciary responsibilities, such as reviewing the organization's annual financial statements |

Provide art direction and serve as creative consultant on projects involving marketing, public relations, visual arts, design and collateral materials production as appropriate to experience |
 |
Cultivate relationships on behalf of Art for People in marketing, media, publications, communications and public relations communities, as appropriate |
